I’m not a christian, but I am a follower and study the word of God.

We don’t condemn, YHWH our Creator does, so we warn people about that. It’s in His word that He gave us. It’s not just homosexual warnings either, it’s all Sin against Him. Hope that helps.

We read the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. God makes it CRYSTAL CLEAR in that book that He condemns those that practice homosexuality. He also states elsewhere in the Bible that men and women are not to "lie" with their own sex as they do with the other sex. God condemns it.

That being said. God also redeems those He condemns by offering them salvation from Hell through repentance of their sins (of which homosexuality is just one) by accepting that Jesus IS Lord and His death took their place in Hell (the cost of their sinful ways.)

I sin and accepted Jesus so I don't have to go to Hell. Otherwise I would have been condemned for sins other than homosexuality. I didn't get a free pass to sin. Neither do the homosexuals.

It isn't the job of a Christian to condemn or judge, unless the person is part of the Body of Christ. But that means the person is cleansed of their sin, reformed and has repented of sinful behavior. They may sin again, no one is perfect but the difference between a Child of God and anyone else is that they repent of their behavior and seek forgiveness from God for their sin.

The Bible is clear homosexuality is a sin, actually it says an abomination before God. But any fornication which is sex outside marriage is a sin. That part is often conveniently left out of most sermons.

Should we think about why? My guess is because God made man and woman for reproduction, and the bond of marriage created for that purpose as well. A married man and woman can and should engage in sex within the bounds of marriage. Anything outside those bounds is a sin. In the case of homosexuality an egregious sin or abomination because reproduction isn't even possible.

It's an act completely against God's design or order and that's why it's an abomination. Can a homosexual be saved? Yes of course any sin except denying the Holy Spirit can be forgiven, but people should change over time. That means leaving behind their old self, and putting on their New Self re-created in Christ's Image.

If a person claims to be a Christian and yet openly retains old behaviors like homosexuality they are continuing to sin in open rebellion against God which means they aren't really saved or redeemed they are mocking God which is a trait of Satan not a Child of God.

I as a Christian do not condemn anyone to anywhere. I try my best to love, and often fall short. No man knows another's heart, that is between the man and God.

Friend, I mean you no disrespect, but if you follow the Word of God then you should know that Jesus is the Messiah and the Savior, the Son of God. Delve deeper into the Word.

If you're driving to Las Vegas you're going to Las Vegas. If you're on a path to hell you're going to hell. Jesus said those who choose to not believe in him are condemned already. All a homosexual has to do is believe in Jesus Christ their Lord and God and continually be willing to try to do his will, then they will be blessed.
