They knew that pushing radical politics could hurt their bottom line, but they made a deliberate choice to go ahead and do it anyway. In a related example, the woman in charge of the controversial Gillette ad campaign a couple years ago admitted their ads cost them revenue but stated it was "worth it" to promote certain values "for the greater good".

This is more sinister than it sounds. If corporations care more about pushing this crap than profits, then boycotts, dropping share values, etc will have little or no negative impact. They will continue down this road no matter what, and there's nothing we can do about it.

We cancelled Netflix in January due to them raising prices. Disney+ is next to be cancelled.

Depends how 'subscribers' are being counted. I've wondered for a while now if they are including T-Mobile "free" users and similar promotional customers in their counts.
