Half of 119 is 59-and-a-half. If that mid-point, 59 1/2 is the "hill," I guess I'm over the hill and on the downward slide.

She wanted to run the Olympic torch relay at age 118. She had to resign from participating because of the woo floo virus epidemic.

Quote:
According to her great-granddaughter Junko Tanaka, 24, who lives in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, and others, Kane was scheduled to participate in the May 11 leg of the torch relay in Shime, Fukuoka Prefecture, in a wheelchair pushed by her relatives. Although Kane is healthy and has a good appetite, they decided not to have her participate because coronavirus infections have spread again in the prefecture and she would have needed to be quarantined for two weeks after the event at the elderly care facility where she lives.

Another was more lucky with the Olympic torch relay.

109-yr-old Olympic torch bearer in Japan completes relay leg

Local resident Shigeko Kagawa, 109, continued practicing obstetrics and gynecology in the community into her 80s. She also worked at a hospital in the city of Osaka during World War II. She witnessed the city as a burned-out ruin after a U.S. air raid, and people's lives being snuffed out in an instant. On April 12, Kagawa carried the Olympic flame with the wish for "lasting world peace" in her heart.

Many thanks for the pine!

Tanaka ascribed her longevity to "eating delicious food and learning." Her favorite treats included soda and chocolate.

Interesting thought.

It's not fake. Many many Japanese have lived beyond 100 men and women.

Their diet could very well be a factor.

Some are saying the "wife" is a "he" named Jean-Michel Trogneux. Brigitte was born Brigitte Trogneux.
"She" is a "trans".

This is documented.

YouTube videos analyze the diet & lifestyle of Japanese elderly. Basically they garden (lots of exercise in the fresh air) and prepare fresh, natural food daily. Limit alcohol & tobacco, rely on herbs rather than big pharma.

Yes soaking in very hot natural mineral waters and accupuncture/massage is the norm too.
