Get Rid of Ants in Your House in 48 hours for Pennies and It's Non-Toxic - Recipe
It will get rid of not just the ants but the entire colony because this recipe makes the ants feed it to the queen and all the eggs too. It works on other insects as well but they have to be attracted to the sugars.

*Make sure honey bees aren't exposed to this mixture.

100 ml of water

60 grams of Borax

50 ml of corn syrup

100 grams of sugar

Put in a small pot bring to boil, stir until all dissolved into the water and you're done.

Label and store in a plastic liquid container this mix will last for years this way.

You'll only need a few tablespoons of the liquid for a small nest.

When using make sure to put it directly in the ant's trail and on a hard surface so it doesn't soak into anything. They'll all come to that area and literally drink everything up, then go back and feed it to the nest.

Active ingredient: Borax

They'll all die of dehydration in 24-48 hours.

Dedicated to the brave men who fought and laid down their lives on the beaches of Normandy and the plains of Europe . . . that their sacrifice was not in vain.

I like boiling water if you know where the nest is. You'll smell 'em as they cook, which is an odd scent.

Yea the powder alone won't work, it needs to be liquified and bond with sugars, then it's a deadly mixture for insects.

All the BS pesticides people use won't even compare to this because the ants feed this mixture to the hive. abomb

I live in a forest of ants, every kind, size and color everywhere, with some nests a big as me.
Borax did not work as well as I hoped but it did help reduce some large nests in the surrounding area of a few varieties after a few years.
I put sugared borax, traps and commercial killer in every corner of the house, on every nest and trail for years and they still kept coming in hoards so thick you could kill a dozen in every step, until I started using bleach to kill and repel them.

It also helps to wound them not kill them, that detours new ones, they also do not like vibration, like loud base music or such.

Bleach was the only thing that solved my major wasp infestation problem too. I would spray a nest with bee spray and new ones would move right back into the same spot every time until I started using a 50/50 bleach water solution in a pump up high power sprayer so you can get in the hard to reach spots do not have to get close.

Bleach is cheap, easy to get and kills bees and ants and keeps them away.

Yes, It's a good solution.... taking small amount of borax, mixing it with sugar, adding some syrup and pouring the mixture into bottle caps to put it in the windows of the kitchen for any ants that come in.

You can also adapt the recipe to killing roaches too. My gradfather would mix the boric acid with flour and bacon grease... put it in bottle caps,

Well, formula 409 kills ants in their tracks and scares the rest away as well, nicer to use than bleach.

A few yrs ago I had a ant hill outside my patio. I went to the coffee shop & picked up a few of those saccharin or other kinds & artificial sweetners. I poured this power on the hill & the path leading to my door. It worked magic.....they moved on to other places.
