i have two little cactus growing in my bedroom. i've had them three years, they sarted out 1/2'', and are now may be 3''!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74278531

you have a cactus nursey!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83667053

i am glad that i have managed to keep them alive three years! i have always thought of one of them as being a male and the other one being a female cactus.

are their male and female cactus? i have no idea. i just thought of them as this way.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74278531

idk! most cactus propagate by splitting off a larger plant. but i do see baby cactuses growing also in my yard. so i guess that they have developed multiple means of self-generation.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83667053

it can be difficult to have houseplants with cats.

the cactus are perfect, they don't go near them!

the storms are hit and miss. the center of town where the official rain totals are tallied, are an inch behind. but on the outskirts it's been a great raining season.

it's amazing how little weather is actually understood.

is it possible to have a rain barrell where you live to water your garden?

i think the lack of water is why the conditions were poor.

that makes sense, the past two years, i grew cucumber by doing nothing, not even really watering. this summer it's much drier.
