Most of eastern/southern Ukraine is populated by ethnic Russians. (Russia has a huge Ukraine population too.) This would account for the massive sabotage going on both sides.

There are a lot of neonaze Ukrainians but there are some in Russia too. Another source for internal sabotage.

Now, the firefights are taking place mostly in residential ethnic Russian neighborhoods with US drone/sat intelligence being fed to Ukraine forces. So the Russians are pretty much stuck in an endless hostage rescue situation. This is how the Uk's were taught by nato to fight Russia. Use the ethnic Russian population as human shields.

That said, if Russia fought nato, it would be a different situation. They would down satellites, awacs planes, drones. We'd lose our eyes and ears. They'd hit airports housing f-35s. And they wouldn't even have to roll convoys into Finland or Poland. They could just lob missiles into those cities and target residential areas, including utilities, hospitals, airports, etc. This would cause a massive refugee crisis and Finland/Poland then would essentially be wrecked as nation states. The end.

NVM, some sources are saying it sank while being towed. Russians claim the damage was from ammunition catching fire(from the missile most likely as they aren't saying what caused the fire). The hull was too damaged and eventually took on water.

I think that nato in some capacity hit the ship and this story of the Ukrainians using Neptune missiles to sink it is a cover story. If the Ukrainians had that capability, they would've hit and other ships a lot sooner in the war.

There aren't any and Russia is playing rhe propoganda card with this situation to the letter.
