The FSB agents were fired and arrested because they were instructed to arrange deals with city leaders so the military could gain control of the towns without so much bloodshed. The agents were lead to believe the deals were valid. They weren't. The Russians went in light and got hammered by the ukies. Major F-up.

Even if true, Ukraine is still cooked and so are NATO, the European Union and the west in general. Putin is just starting phase 2 of the attack.

If NATO and Europe keep providing weapons and support to Ukraine, the natural gas and fertilizer will be cutoff and Europe will freeze and starve. And prices in the US will skyrocket. Not going to be pretty the 2nd half of this year and the next several years to follow.
