Second mistake
Another mistake of the 1st stage was the wrongly chosen balance of forces. We would defeat Ukraine with a little bloodshed, throwing against an army of 300,000 people (not counting the reserve and territorial defense forces totaling 600,000), a group of 200,000 troops that would be deployed in a huge theater of military operations.

And if we achieved our first victories due to the effect of surprise and the high mobility of our Tactical Battalions, it boomeranged us. Their mobility became less for them, when the accounting support convoys could not keep up with the vanguard and fell into the trap of the Ukrainian forces that knew the ground well and were well equipped.

In addition, there was no one to hold the land we already owned. Thus we became hostages of a maneuvering war, which we ourselves imposed on the enemy. For some reason the enemy avoided meeting us in direct conflict. He remained fortified in the cities and with a human shield the local population.

Why we did not calculate this scenario is a mystery to me…
The foreign military advisers did not plan such resistance at all, relying more on guerrilla warfare in urban areas.., so they did not supply them with heavy weapons but with portable anti-tank weapons (ATGM and MANPADS) and light rifles. However, having discovered that the Ukrainians, using our mistakes, had achieved unexpected successes, the foreign military advisers changed their tactics of war, and began to supply them with heavy weapons.
Therefore, we have before us a difficult battle, not for life, but for death, and it is necessary for people who are ordinary people to understand this clearly.

Third mistake
And here lies our main mistake. We do not disclose the purpose of this operation. Putin has spoken of demilitarization and de-Nazisation in the name of halting the genocide of the people of Donbass. As a result, while rescuing the people of Donbass from genocide, we inadvertently endangered the rest of the people of Ukraine.

Moreover, the people, not listening to the goals and the final tasks of the Russian Federation in this operation and seeing the cruelty with which the Nazi regime in Kiev suppresses any pro-Russian narrative, do not rush to show sympathy for the Russian troops that liberated them. We are not going anywhere - We are here forever
This is the main mistake of the Kremlin in the first stage of the operation, and therefore the main task in the second stage is to convey to the people in Ukraine that we will not go anywhere, we have come forever. The opponent's plans - The "exhausting war"
