More ppl agree with you than you know. I'm no cop fan, but I'm even less a fan of the violent segment of the country. Subtract that segment's influence, and crime rates for the U.S. would look very, very different. To that extent, the violent segment are allowed to freely serve a purpose. Less crime means less money gets budgeted. It's the same reason mil like ginning up endless BS wars.

It's a shitty situation, for sure.

But all of these traffic stop situations are the same: If a cop says stay back, stay in your car, on your knees, hands up or whatever, then do what they say. If you're innocent, the facts will prevail. If you're guilty, then you needed to be arrested.

Again, if you're innocent, why attack the cop who has weapons? Grabbing their weapon is an illegal act. You're going to risk your life.
