I’m glad me and all my family are unaffected by this BS, everyone is the gender they were born, and comfortable with it. I feel sorry for children these days, and the brainwashing they get masquerading as education. Always remember these words: Work hard, study well, and eat and sleep plenty! That is the Turtle Hermit way! We must master the art of peace in addition to the art of war! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 83696309 United States 08/15/2022 10:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My father had prostrate cancer where they needed to remove his testicles along with removal of his pelvic lymph nodes and part of his colon. The surgery was so effective he did not need chemo or radiation. He was 72. Helped him thru this process as I am in medicine (daughter). Then afterward talked about depression especially since he was essentially castrated. During that conversation he talked about the concern he wouldn’t be able to have sex. We discussed penile implants and eventually I went to the specialist with him and he had one surgically implanted. He pasted away 15 years later and he and my mother had a happy, satisfied last few years together. Never thought it would be that way, but my parents were always there for us and our advocates so I believe as they aged, the normal progression where the children move to a different role and the parent becomes the more dependent. My father would be about 105 now if he was alive. Now I am reaching retirement. Unfortunately I don’t have any children. But am glad I was blessed with great parents. I miss them both dearly each day. There is nothing people cannot talk about if they love , care and respect each other. |
