Cell phone internet service has been bad for over 6 months

I’m rural, it was very low signal but steady to begin with. After the 5G rollout or whatever, it’s been horrible. Sometimes I get texts 6 hours late now.

6 hours, you just have to laugh.

Why do you pay for mobile service?

Get a virtual number/service and use wifi. Have a landline at home or VOIP if you must (though VOIP won't work when you have no ppwer or internet connection).

Free yourself from the contract. I'm so happy I did.

they created a clusterfuck of truncated spectrum thru their incompetence and greed

cell carriers need contiguous spectrum segments to make 5g efficient

instead now expensive modern consumer devices are now needed to aggregate all the chunks back together

also because of marketing the stupid consumer now has expectations which are not met because everybody wastes bandwidth on streaming useless high definition video killing the network throughput

Yes ever since 5g. Not sure how this can be acceptable service, and they keep charging full price every month.

Couldn't these idiots wait until they had a solid 5g service until they rolled it out?

furthermore since room is limited and all the new Higher frequency antennas at the cellsites are being installed the older lte equipment has to be consolidated

Well the cell phone companies are guilty for making false promises.

Why not be truthful with their marketing?
