Quoting: uhhuh Depends on how prepared I am for it. I had basically no warning on this one, I was in a rush just to get everything set up and then try to keep it in the field of view as the scope tracked it screaming across the sky. That was the one thing that struck me with awe last night, I could see how far it moved in an hour, a visible indication of its 15 km/s velocity relative to earth. Sure, I could see the stars streaking by in each image as well, but I was so focused on running the webcast and maintaining the scope's position that it wasn't until I looked up again and saw how far the scope had moved in a short amount of time that I took a moment to realize the implication of how fast this object is moving relative to earth. Twice the velocity of ISS, just farther away. All of that said, I still enjoy it each time I get a chance to employ my software for tracking objects in space. It's a challenge and a thrill. |

Thanks for the reply. The software you created seems far more advanced and accurate than anything we are allowed to see on YouTube these days. I hope to see more of your videos in the future. uhhuh |

Gullible "Who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes?" So I filmed it myself with my own software, but it's still fake? Dude, I've independently measured the distance to various objects in space, including asteroids, even Apophis. They're not fake. |
