I'm sure I've read on here many a time that the US exports beef and lamb because they're a major producer, but this says outer wise.

Just went grocery shopping 2day and almost keeled over as Boars Head roast beef was $17.98/lb.

Beef!....it was once for dinner.

Biden has done some fuckery holding up beef supplies

so major chains are buying from overseas

the Union's control US slaughter houses

Biden told them to crank up the price

Land for farming in New Zealand is reducing!

People are now making more money by planting trees for carbon credits so many farmers are dotting their paddocks with sapling trees.

Traditional framers are really annoyed about this and many are refusing to do such a thing but there are other companies many with offshore owners who are reducing the land available for traditional crops and beef and lamb by planting trees.

Been doing the same here for decades

Meanwhile, beef and lamb here in supermarkets is astronomical. Farmers are delayed 2-3 months getting their stock to slaughter houses because of "delays due to Covid".

Thankful we have our own supply of meat and the skills/equipment to process it but I don't think anyone can be truly prepared for what's about to unfold...

The ranchers are not getting shit from the stockyards or processors due to the Monopoly games.

I keep getting offered grass steers at $4 a pound packed and butchered. I guess I can make Chile from the "bits" and Mexican burritos from the extra meats.
