Damn, that's tough. We sold summer of last year, at that time we were living on Malcolm Island (Sointula, off the north east coast of the island) and at that time it was crazy to find anything to BUY< never mind rent - people are buying swamp there, filling it, and having houses moved there :( Needless to say, there's no rental market to speak of there. Same here (Gold River) and most rural areas on the island - we had a HUGE influx from Vancouver and Victoria when the whole COVID thing really kicked off. I wish you luck - I'm sure you'll find something! ad ignorantiam - The assumption of a conclusion or fact based primarily on lack of evidence to the contrary. Gerry is for Germans, just as bad as saying other racial terms, like w*p, Ki*e, Chin*, J*p, etc. It is just one of those negative old sayings usually coming from a War, to give another country a lower place in society and label them the enemy. Mount it on a swivel. think i agree with you. this particular mount is a vacuum suction 3-axis mount designed for a much smaller camera, kinda taking it to the limit with my bigger/heavier (but higher picture quality) camera. my next video will be using a tripod mount in the backseat of the car and zoomed forward a bit, but centred which is the perspective i prefer. not exactly sure what you mean by "swivel" mount though, if you have a link to the product you have in mind i would definitely check it out!
