This happened March 30th, 2022. I live in Michigan and we were having a bit of an ice storm.
I woke up at 5:00 and checked the driveway to see if my hubby had taken his truck to work. He normally drives our Sonic because it gets great gas mileage but it is dangerous to drive on slippery roads. He leaves the house at 3:00 am to drive to work.
I saw the truck and the Sonic in the driveway and our all wheel drive SUV was gone. I usually drive it but had no plans to go anywhere that day. I thought that was a good decision on his part. So I added a few logs to the wood stove and went back to bed.
I got up a couple hours later and when I walked out to the garage I noticed the Sonic was gone and the Acadia was there. I called my husband and told him what happened and he told me he never would have considered taking the Acadia in case I wanted to go somewhere.
I’m not crazy. I know what I saw. What the heck happened?

Today the matrix laughed out loud.
Coming home, the truck has preprogrammed remote controls built into the sun visor. Wife’s car too. We have too many remotes so we try to use the programmable built in ones. My truck won’t open driveway gate but will open garage. Wife’s car is the opposite.
Love wife’s car so been driving it for last 6 months that my truck battery lost its charge. I charge it and drove it. Came home and hit the gate opener and it opened. No biggie. Have to hold it down for 2 seconds in wife’s car. So I laughed and let go because I’m in the truck and was holding the garage button ( opposite buttons than wife’s ). Except the gate opened. So I pulled through and hit the button again. Garage opened. Had to use the gate remote to close it.
Somehow I opened the gate with the garage remote and it wasn’t an accident as I still had my finger on the garage button when I caught the mistake.
Reckon the correct intention accessed the wrong remote. Never happened before but not sure as all the other remotes don’t have to be held down 2 seconds.
