I think you are misinterpreting it.

They have actual data up to end of 2019, all data after that is the UN projection (both chart and table, notice there is no red line for 2020/2021), i.e. they have not yet collated data from 2020 onwards for release.

Also, the data tables you show includes the death rate for 2022 which is not possible as 2022 in barely 1/4 in, hence it must be projection data.

I do find it ironic UN projection for death rates rose for first time in 50 years despite not knowing a pandemic was coming...
