If you look online you will see one cause of aphasia is STROKE. Wonder if he had a silent stroke first?

Yep my mother got a second shot after I warned her to not even get one at all but my nurse sister talked her into it. She now has aphasia and I have to decode what she is talking about.

She calls a can opener a key, stuff like that.

On the bright side the movies that he is in now are crap so nobody will see a difference.

In Hollywood five years ago Bruce was having issues remembering his lines.!

He has had problems according to production teams that have worked with him going back to 2010!

Have you watched his movies over the past 15 years? It's been a gradual decline and you can see it. The movies he's starred in over the past 5-8 years have been largely cameo roles and even the straight to DVD movies that he was the lead actor had less and less dialogue from Bruce as the years waned on.

I'm a big Bruce Willis fan, but it's been clear something was actually wrong since his departure from Expendables 3 in 2013. Every interview with a co-actor after that described Bruce as difficult to work with, mean, hard to talk to, etc. Given what we know now, that all makes sense.

Yes, he's been on the decline for some time. He started giving strange interviews in 2013 while promoting Red 2. Then in 2014 he opted out of Expendables 3, sources cite that Bruce demanded an exorbitant salary ($3 million for 4 days of work) - the reason he probably asked for such a high salary was to bow out without drawing attention as to why he wouldn't (couldn't) perform in the film. Maybe he didn't want his peers seeing his decline. It was around this time that he started making a lot of crap movies.

He's made so many crap movies in the past 10 years that I wonder if his family & business associates took advantage of him - made him the 'dancing monkey' to keep churning out the money.

Or maybe that's what Bruce wanted. He is old school, the provider and an upstanding father - always there for his children, his wife and even his ex-wife.

I'm not into celeb worship but I have a soft spot for Bruce. Something about him reminds me of my husband - old school, a real man that takes care of his family.

I thought he was great in the 2018 film Death Wish - in my opinion, the last good film he put out.

There has been evidence of Bruce Willis' decline for years, well before Covid-19 even started. There were articles out years ago that suggested he was losing his memory because he started having to wear and earpiece to do movies, and his acting had started to become more wooden.
