It is absolutely absurd that Norway, so rich in hydropower, gas and oil, now have to import energy from the common EU-grid that cost 10 times the price before those cables were introduced. Electricity used to be almost for free in Norway, now a normal household with a monthly usage ofr 2000 Kw/h pay like $500 each month. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82627254 Why did you join the EU? There were two elections, one in 1972 and one in 1994, where the Norwegians said NO to join the EU. But the politicians still joined the EU by a backdoor, the EEC, which is like being a member but without any representation. The politicians joined the ACER too, and voted in favor of building the cables, through the wholly state-owned powercompany Statkraft. Democracy is a fucking joke! Norway should also demand payment for their oil in rubles. just say FU to the EU Hey, EU. This one's for you! |

Like some sort of last minute agreement to delay either scenario, then you don't hear about it again. Hopefully I'm doing fine atm, but i can always move to brazil and work remotely |

Quoting: docsquat 38% of Europe’s electric generation is from natural gas powered generators. That cannot be replaced in a hurry. Nuclear plants would have to be built. No gas, electric brown outs continent wide. No heat, no AC, no cooking, no internet. Better get those EU leaders to go out and buy some rubles right now! lower your expectations |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77356555 It's not about the rubles or exchange rate but showing them your gold. This time is different... You can't eat and warm without gold !! UNCLE JOHN |

With regulations they way they are, it takes over 30 years to build a nuclear power plant. I believe in science NOT religion. Giving me bad karma for that, is anti-religious (you're passing judgement) I am just a man. Of no significance. Who found religion to be full of lies, and wrong doing, conflicted teachings I understand microwave communications. I do not stand for the NWO, it sucks. |

West will be happy to convert to alternative energy including nuke plants which will make Putins oil fields worthless. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77356555 I was there in 1974 when it was first being discussed - getting natural gas from Russia. The Iron Curtain was still up. knew someone who worked for Ruhrgas, a huge German gas provider. He was in favor of getting it from them. you gonna bring it over on an airplane, Ami? Next winter would be a deadline for getting ready. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81446580 Omg, you're such a retarded idiot. Europe will be out of gas by mid-April. The economic collapse of Europe will be fast (a week once Russian gas stops), or "slow" (a month). But we ALL know that WW3 will start before this happens. |
