For Musk, launching the Starship into orbit is a step toward carrying NASA astronauts to the moon — and eventually realizing his dream of colonizing Mars. To get going, SpaceX needs FAA approval after an environmental review of its Starship spacecraft and Super Heavy rocket program at the commercial space company's Starbase compound in Boca Chica, near Brownsville. ... But the agency said Friday that it would push the date to complete its environmental review from March 28 to April 29 — marking its third delay since closing out a public comment period in November. You can bet Sleepy Joe told them to drag their feet cause Musk ain't a team player for the libs. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78535160 United States 05/01/2022 12:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Starship—which is being built at a Texas site dubbed “Starbase”—consists of a giant spaceship on top of a large booster, known as Super Heavy. Both can land back on Earth so they can be reused, reducing costs. The entire vehicle will be capable of lifting 100 metric tons (220,000 pounds) of cargo and people into space on regular low-cost missions. The volume of usable space within Starship is a whopping 1,000 cubic meters—big enough to fit the entire Eiffel Tower, disassembled. And that’s got scientists excited. Quoting: Crypto-Tard No permit needed. Much harder to get the liquid O2 transported there. One method is to have a cryogenic barge that gets filled, then scoot it out to the platform. Extra handling at a minimum, costs more and loses some of the cryogenic liquid in the process. Last Edited by JustmeTX on 05/01/2022 12:45 PM Justme |

These "delays" are because SpaceX is having a really hard time trying to this thing to stay in the air without exploding or crashing into the ground. It's not as if they ever planned to go to Mars to begin.. space is fake and it's a production to fool humanity. Elon and his crew were hoping to launch it over the Atlantic, just like NASA does with the shuttle. The problem is, Elon and the crew can't even fake that much. Fucking retards |

People in the Biden administration are behind these delays and are actively trying to feed China with everything they need to make a copy of Starship. The Chinese build crap rockets and they know it, Bill Clinton provided them with the technology to achieve low earth orbit, Biden is out to give them the technology to build a base on the moon or mars. |

Russia will likely no longer support US space flights soon…but the Us will have egg on its face if it uses Russia to get into space! SLS is a disaster and costs billions more to sustain…much less can never support frequency of launches needed. Musk is being targeted by the democrats…harassment! |
