I have sat at this page many times, considering the next steps that must be taken. At the center of it all are basic concepts that are not easy to convey. It's all about TIME.

In the Adventist church, this became an issue with one of our major writers back in the 1800's. In his book entitled, "Thoughts on Daniel and the Revelation", he attempted to address the prophecies that dealt with time being "no more". It was concerning the "finishing of God's work", and he realized that this was an extremely important issue--perhaps the most important issue of all. He questioned what could possibly happen that would end this period of "time no more".

He quickly realized that the issues would arise during a "parenthetical prophecy" that occurs between Revelation 10:1 and Revelation 11:15. The END of chapter 9 ended with the sounding of the sixth trumpet. Verse 11:15 recounts the beginning of the seventh trumpet and the "time" that God would finish the "mystery". He could not come to a final conclusion on the matter, but he said "It is no uncalled for solicitude for what is meant by the "finishing of God's work". He rightfully concluded that this was of utmost importance for us to understand if we were to understand the parenthetical prophecy and, therefore, be prepared for all that was to follow. With his admittedly scant knowledge of the subject, he made a few basic conclusions.

The first conclusion he came to was that this could NOT mean the end of time, itself; because there were further events to occur AFTER the parenthetical prophecy. With his limited understanding, he concluded that it could only mean the end of PROPHETIC TIME. He never perceived that there was a third alternative--an understanding of time, itself. Only in recent times have we even considered that we could actually discover the attributes of time--even to the "discovery" and actual laboratory creation of a "crystal of time." To be honest, I have a hard time to wrap my mind around this--but it is totally appropriate considering the makeup of the Heavenly Temple and the mystery of the Kingdom of God, itself.

When researching these "attributes", I found what appeared to be a "conspiracy" that appears in many writings by many different people. It was inexplicable to me why anyone would CHANGE the wording of concepts that were readily accepted throughout the world for a very long time. That "mystery" demanded that I look into it more deeply. I was not prepared for what I would find. It altered my thinking and opened up a whole new world to me. I will touch upon it in my next posting so as to not make THIS posting too long of a read.
