Disappointing, crap movie.

Matrix had gone "woke" bullshit.

I still recommend you watch the movie. That way I will not be the only sucker that lost time on a blatant money milking sequel (they even tell you in the movie it is a money milking movie lacking heart).

It has a lot of deep meaning that most of the public has clearly missed. It's about our present reality and the state of disarray today. A "broken" reality or a degraded one. It's directly related to what is going on today in many ways. but will you like watching it? I have no idea. People that went into it expecting more of the same were disappointed. But that is mainly due to their expectations and perhaps the slew of bad movies that have been out recently created a preconceived idea it would have to be bad. it's not great, but it's definitely not nearly as bad as the average critic has tried to claim. it's a statement movie. a mirror. art reflecting reality etc etc.

Proves my above post. nope. but people want to be right about everything. I get why you think that it is based purely on a lot of other recent movies, but that is not what this one was about. argue all you want. I don't give a shit. it's about a degraded reality aka OUR WORLD TODAY or our current "Matrix" status.

I do like the Matrix 4 plot. However, the script spent too much time focused on woke culture and mind numbing coffee breaks.

Surprisingly, I did enjoy Doogey Howser playing the narcissistic antagonist. However, he could had been gifted with more reality bending abilities.

Biggest disappointment was "The One" revelation (without giving spoilers).

The movie is still worth while watching, but don't expect the quality to be on par with the three previous installments. It drags out unnecessary. Would had preferred more action.

NOPE don't bother. JUST like THEY have purposely attempted to RUIN Star Trek and Star Wars franchises, this is just as bad.

i you enjoyed the first one, watch that.

the reboot to me felt kinda like when a franchise tries to go meta and make references to itself.

Watched it 4x so far.

The first hour is pretty good, but only about 25 minutes of the last 80 minutes is good.

The fight scenes are poor and its a little "star warsy" in parts.
