It should begin to soak in on people that a nation that is not self-sufficient as we once were is subject to many vulnerabilities. When the USSR invaded Afghanistan in the late 1970's Carter cut off wheat exports to the Soviet Union as a sanction. At that time the USA exported wheat to Russia and Ukraine. Now we import from them and Biden's sanctions hurt us more so than them. He's killing US citizens financially in order to punish Putin? Nothing this guy does makes sense.

Trade is a good thing as a luxury and not so much a necessity. We went from a nation of producers to a nation of consumers.

The corruption is so thick at the local levels as well. All the towns around me are just a mess of corruption, back door deals, hand out to their buddies.. It is just sick.

This is in dead central Midwest usa. Can't imagine what is happening on the coasts at the local level..

And, there's no fuel shortage problem. Just 2 years ago, we were exporting oil & we were energy independent. All these crisis were planned, implemented, and carried out by the same 1%, that said they would use food, fuel, and, medicine as weapons.
