Catastrophic failure of the horizontal stabilizer. Just an opinion having flown for over 35 years in many jets. Weather it was vandalized during ground operations or an actual failure of 3 plus systems is for the investigators to find out. I’m betting we will never really get the truth. I can say however an electronic overtake of the systems is 1 in a 100000000000000000. Simply because every single system has a backup system as well as a what I call an oh shit backup when all electronic inputs are completely removed from the control system. I say catastrophic horizontal stabilizer failure because that is exactly what happens when you completely lose it. If the plane had been a very earlier model like the 70’s Learjet 25. models. Mach Tuck would of been the very first thing that would of come to mind. From the video it appears the plane was at least doing 600 Kts. which supports that premise. Once those speeds were reached vertical recover would be all but impossible. I would be interested if there was a sonic boom since it appeared to be very close to Mach 1 or higher.
