Russian Ministry of Defense: Kiev prepares provocations against US citizens to draw NATO into the conflict

Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov reported the testimony of a high-ranking Ukrainian Security Service officer, who not only surrendered to the Russian military, but also passed on detailed information regarding all persons involved in sabotage activities on the territory of Donbass. He also reported that the Kiev regime was preparing a serious provocation.

- In the course of a special military operation, an officer of the SBU Main Directorate for Donetsk and Luhansk Regions voluntarily surrendered to Russian servicemen. The officer was directly involved in organizing the training of sabotage and terrorist groups to work in the areas liberated from nationalists. The SBU officer reported terrorist acts planned by militants of the Azov nationalist battalion in Lviv against employees and facilities of diplomatic missions of the USA and other Western countries," Konashenkov said.

The major general stressed that the leadership of the Kiev nationalist regime is aware of the nationalists' plans, but takes no action to prevent their implementation. The Kiev nationalist regime plans to present attacks on diplomatic facilities of the U.S. and Western countries as a supposed "purposeful attack of the Russian armed forces. And the main purpose of the provocation is to increase pressure on NATO countries to introduce a "no-fly zone" over Ukraine and to provide additional weapons.

- I bring to the attention of all the persons recruited by the SBU that the voluntary renunciation of criminal activity and timely reporting to the law enforcement agencies exempts them from criminal liability," the Russian major general addressed the recruited citizens of Donbass.

COMBAT UPDATE.

According to the Ministry of Defense, units of the Russian Armed Forces, having crossed the Kashlagach River, broke through the defense of the Aidar battalion and, advancing 5 kilometers, reached the Shakhterskoye-Novoukrainka line.

Up to 30 insurgents, one tank, one BMP and four cross-country vehicles were destroyed. Currently, they are fighting with units of the 54th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, acting in the second echelon.

The grouping of the People's Militia of the Donetsk Republic destroyed up to a company from the 53rd separate mechanized brigade of the AFU, took full control of the village of Taramchuk and is pursuing the retreating enemy.

A group of Luhansk People's Republic troops reached the northern outskirts of Lisichansk and destroyed scattered groups of nationalists retreating from the town of Rubizhne. During the day, operational and tactical, army aviation struck 59 military facilities in Ukraine. Among them: three command posts, two multiple rocket launchers and two radar stations near the town of Bogodukhov, two rocket and artillery weapons depots, as well as 51 locations where military equipment was amassed.

The Forpost-RU unmanned aerial vehicle destroyed one radar of the S-300 air defense missile system 60 kilometers to the north of Kiev, in the vicinity of the village of Vypozov.

In addition, Russian air defense forces shot down five Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the air, including one Bayraktar TB-2 near Malovorontsivka.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation destroyed:

201 - unmanned aerial vehicles.

1,443 - tanks and other armored combat vehicles.

147 - multiple rocket launchers.

564 - field artillery and mortar guns.

1248 - units of special military motor vehicles.

AT THE TIME

The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened two more criminal cases on the facts of cruel treatment of civilians by Ukrainian nationalists and the use of prohibited means and methods in the armed conflict.

According to the investigation, during March 18-19, soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and other Ukrainian military formations carried out massive targeted artillery and mortar attacks with heavy weapons in the towns of Pervomaisk, Stakhanov, Svatove, and Kirovsk in the Luhansk People's Republic. As a result of shells hitting and exploding in Stakhanov and Svatove, six civilians were killed, including one minor. Two more people were wounded.

During the same period, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other Ukrainian military formations carried out massive targeted artillery and mortar shelling of civilian infrastructure in the cities of Donetsk, Makeyevka, Novoazovsk, Yasynuvata, Volnovakha, and Mariupol in the Donetsk People's Republic. Five civilians were killed and 28 others were injured, including three minors.

Civilian infrastructure, including power lines and a gas pipeline, were also damaged.

The Russian Investigative Committee said that investigators of the agency and prosecutors of the DNR and LNR continue to identify Ukrainian security officials involved in these crimes against peace and security of humanity in Donbass.

It is very very easy to discern. Russia said like 10 times to different countries, embassies, media - that they won't invade Ukraine. And they did. That's your answer.

No provocations necessary. NATO is itching to get Americans to fight its wars, to take the casualties, and to give up the spoils.

In other words Russia plans to attack American citizens and blame it on Ukraine. That's an act of war against the USA, Putin needs to remember pearl harbor.

WWIII need not be nukes. Putin dies of a heart attack, don't think we could make it happen?

Why would Russia do something that brings NATO into the conflict? Who has the motive to do this? What happened to critical thinking?

The only way NATO can enter the war is to attack with nukes. Conventional war is a non-starter because Russia will wreck them and NATO knows it.

If NATO wanted to escalate, they could have easily done so by now. They have refused all calls for a no fly zone

Zelensky and his regime are trying hard to draw NATO into this conflict. The no-fly zone didn't work and now they resort to this. They probably have support from external forces.

Option 1: False flag chemical attack on civilian target. Lots of dead babies and crying widow footage ready to play and sent out 30 minutes before the supposed event to every MSM outlet.
