I live on a farm with good neighbors. A great sheriff's department. In a rural area and my neighbors and I have had to form a neighborhood watch because the tweakers have burglarized everyone's home or barn.

I lost 5K worth of tools! I sleep with a loaded .45 on the nightstand. My wife and son have guns on their nightstands as well. Three dogs. The Great Pyr sleeps in our room. The Spanish Alano/German Shepard sleeps at the foot of my son's bed.

He is a senior in college. He carries a backpack with a trauma plate. He's not allowed to carry his own weapon on campus. Even though he has a CCW and advanced pistol training. Even if he joins the campus police reserve.

Our leaders have been ridiculous and lacking moral judgement, and they do this to keep every tax payer alive. If they close the borders votes are lost. If they favor a country which has not provided money to ours, defaulted on a loan, not allowed life for homosexual behavior, they lose world views. No world leader is any less a narcissist than the next.

Putin turns a blind eye to his own country's problems to point out others' flaws. He's just like all the rest.

I am not a commie sympathizer, but absolutely no one in power is any better than the next. Maybe it does come down to the elephant in the room is being driven mad...time to build a bigger room.
