In the spring before the 2016 presidents race, the cable news channels started airing segments about black men being killed by police and making that a very urgent issue, saying if Trump wins it will get worse and black people will die in large numbers.

Towards fall, most all of the news became fear pieces on white supremacists and how they are to blame for police shootings of blacks. Police shooting of black men was the main theme of all MSM news at this time.

When the election took place and Trump got elected, all that died down and by spring went away.

Then in the 2020 election, they started again right on cue in the months before the election. Police shootings of black men and racism became very urgent issues once again. The media whipped up anger that resulted in riots. They let it be known Trump must not win.

The election took place and was likely rigged, and Biden got in. In no time the policemen shooting black men theme disappeared from the news.

If you look at charts on police shootings, you will see the numbers remain fairly constant over time. Also in raw numbers, twice as many white men are killed than black men.
