Even the unique people or circumstances are not that unique when viewed from above; viewed from realities in which your sensibilities are fully functional, unlike on earth.

His family has always been mind-controlled to cause as much damage as possible on him, as others have been used as well, no exceptions. To this day his family doesn't know who he is or their damage to him.

While his determination has helped him overcome many difficult situations, it's always been God to push him get out of such situations. That said, there has been at least one case long time ago when he was a child when he wanted to hurt himself and it was God who forewarned him about the terrible consequences for him and the world.

The only thing that keeps him going is that he knows the next life will reward him as long as he doesn't give up in this life.
