The plane issue provided a rare moment of disharmony in what has been a largely united effort by NATO allies to assist Ukraine without getting embroiled in a wider war with Russia.

And it meant Harris was flying into fractious terrain Wednesday as she opens a two-day visit to Poland and Romania and tries to patch things up.

You would need not only pilots familiar and trained on the weapons platform. Maybe we have a few at flight schools.

But the bigger issue is planes need entire support operations, maintenance, supply, special tools specific, as well as technicians able to work on the end item.

My unit went from A10s to F15s - it took months of training, preparation, retooling etc. You don't just say - here - take our Migs. This is a show of hand that the Polish do not intend to use their MANPOWER in this theater.

At least this administration isn't as incompetent as we all think it is.

They did not help their own people when they evacuated either.
