Florida 'Grim Reaper' Enters State AG Race

(National File) A man who harassed Florida beach goers while dressed as the grim reaper has joined the state’s Attorney General race. Daniel Uhlfelder, a Florida lawyer, gained notoriety for dressing up as the grim reaper in order to hype up the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Uhlfelder spent the early months of the pandemic dressing up as the grim reaper and appearing on Florida beaches. After Florida Governor Ron DeSantis refused to close beaches in the state, Uhlfelder began dressing up in his costume to encourage people to stay home.
