My sincerest and heartfelt sympathy..I know all too well what that is like..on 3/15/2020 my Dad fell sick with pneumonia and was suspected of having Covid and being literally "patient zero" in my county..they forced my mom and I out of the hospital..isolated my Dad delayed treatment while they were figuring treatment protocol..

He passed on 3/16/20...wasnt Covid bacterial double pneumonia .ruined my Mom..she was immunocompromised and afraid to go a lot of places during it

She had some of her own issues she delayed..and some diagnostics she needed were put off due to Covid..


Her stomach issues turned out to be Pancreatic Cancer and she passed 8/16/2021

On 3/11/2020..I remember all too well discussing with my Mom that I wanted to to something big for their 50th anniversary and we were kicking some shit around

Never guessed five days later we'd lose Dad ..and 5 days before it shed go to be with him


I still wonder every day if my parents would still be here if not for Covid

So sorry for your loss as well. Having questions like that going constantly through your mind makes coping with it even worse. Just try to not beat yourself up over it. You did everything you could do in these circumstances. And I hope you know that the memories you shared with your parents will forever be tucked away safely in your heart.

It seems like every week more and more of these kinds of posts pop up. Prayers for all who is suffering.

My mother (April 6th, 1926 - November 3rd, 2020) was a nursing home resident. They closed the nursing home to visitors in March, 2020.

I don't think the heartbreak and sorrow will ever go away.

my mother is 90 and I have not seen her in over a year
I would like to kick the door in and take her out of there
I am fortunate that my sister is in there with her daily and I know she is well cared for
I miss her so
Should she take a turn for the worst no dink of a security guard would keep me from getting to her
they do the devil's work and my mother knows that too, she told me the last time I was with her "they are going to get a big surprise"
the surprise might be me!

First, I am so very deeply sorry. This pandemic has been so cruel, it has separated loved ones. I won’t add to your emotional burden with my own family story of a similar end,but I hope it makes you feel less alone to know that there are many,too many,of us who know precisely what you are going through.

I appreciate it..some days are better than others..but you keep on and keep moving..it's what they would have wanted..my wife and son also give me great purpose and fulfillment to do so.

I know how this feels.

We lost my dad to Acute Myeloid Leukemia during the 2020 lock down. They would not even allow my mother to see him. It was downright cruel.


May the family and loved ones affected find comfort during this difficult time.

My mother passed on Feb 21 from covid pneumonia and our hospital let us "suit up" and go in with her and hold her hand and talk to her before she went.
Im so glad I was able to do that.
Our hospital has relaxed some of its policies and people are able to be with their loved ones.

Maka, your Mom and my Mom are both together talking about how proud they are of their sons today, I'm sure.

Lost mine 5 years ago. And I feel her near me keeping me from danger every day.

Prayers for comfort going out to you and your family Maka. Your mother was not alone. She was surrounded by Gods heavenly host and is in a better place now. Dont beat yourself up over something you had no control over.

This is símilar to what happened to me. The nurses even refused to give me a paper cup to drink out. This whole thing is totally Satanic.

A firm connection to God is the best and probably only help in this situation. God bless and keep you, My prayers will be with you.

I guess you have two options 1) Comply. 2) Mag dump.

I'd go for option 2. It's amazing how people's minds change once their life is on the line.

So very very sorry for your mom’s passing and the way it happened.

Mothers give a lot to have and raise their children and I can tell she did a very good job with you because you care so much. Right now she would want you to heal and carry on and “be strong” Right?

(I hope you understand these words) and honor your dear Mother with your best life that you can live now- today. You honor your mother’s work in raising you by finding your peace and happiness in this life, not just for you, but for her and for your God. Make your life count even more and live your best life in honor of your mother.

Those that pass ALWAYS pass alone weather you are there or not. We cannot pass for our loved ones. You did everything you could in a very trying situation. You and your sister did NOTHING wrong. God chooses the manner and place of our passing. Her passing in the hospital was between her and God alone. You had zero control over this situation and are an innocent bystander.

Please know that she isn’t dead, but she has passed into another dimension that only some can see and know while here.

God calls us home when it is our time. The manner of it is in God’s hands. God is ever present in the hospital or out. We are never separate from God.

The Lord Giveth and The Lord Taketh, Blessed is the Name of the Lord. Amen.

Ps my mother too passed alone on a ventilator in the Pomona Hospital and I wasn’t there. This happened a long time ago. But I still remember.
So I do know how much it hurts and how you are feeling.
Give yourself time to heal from your grief and know that your mother has gone because it was her time and NOTHING is your fault.
