ALL plants make music. How does the tree do that? I'll answer my own question : [link to soundofgoldenlight.com] "The U1 device for the music of the plants is based on a variation of the Wheatstone bridge, where one or more fixed resistances and a variable one are used to measure variations of impedance (electrical resistance). In the case of the U1 what is being measured is the electrical resistance in the living tissues of plants. These variations can then be translated into a variety of different signals, including MIDI for digital musical instruments, like a synthesizer." |

If you really want to hear the trees' music, simply record the U1 for a few hours, and then speed it up into the audible range. |

I once came upon an old cotton wood tree, it looked like a giant with an old plow. My kids were with me and thought I was nuts talking to this old tree.. And then to their amazement this tree groaned and creaked, there was no wind.. Another one of those things that have no explanation, other than a a lovey moment interacting with a tree that has witnessed many moon and sunrises. When I see trees getting clearcutted to build what not it makes me so sad, I can feel the remaining edge of trees mourn for those that were literally slaughtered. Cheers to these things not understood but make so much sense |

If you have to speed it up, compress it, and then convert it to MIDI signals, then the tree isnt doing anything. You could literally do the same to a toaster and say "oh look my toaster is making music". |

So, he measures variation in resistance in the plants, converts that to midi, and plays it back. He then makes a wild assed claim that the tree is making music. You could do the same thing with dirt or grape juice. Smoke me a kipper, I’ll be back for breakfast. For composer Vaclav Halek, these forest fruits sing. Halek could be called the ultimate Czech -- an avid mushroom collector and composer in one. But his talent also makes him unique. An example is Halek's short composition for the porcini mushroom (boletus edulis/Czech: hrib smrkovy). The 66-year-old Halek has been gathering fungi all his life. But it wasn't until one day in 1981, with a distinguished career as a composer already well established, that the mushroom muse sang to Halek. "I was on a field trip with Mr. Baier, who is a famous Czech mycologist," Halek said. "We were in the forest, in summer, and he was taking pictures of a particular mushroom type called [the tarzetta] (geopyxis catinus/Czech: zvonecek sadni). Just before he pressed the shutter he called me over and said: 'Come have a look and tell me if I've got the picture framed correctly,' And imagine, when I looked through the camera's viewfinder, at that very moment, I heard, clear as a bell...music." Halek at first couldn't believe his ears. He stepped back for a minute, then looked through the viewfinder again. The forest was alive with music: "It was an entire orchestra. I heard the flute, the oboe, violins, the double bass, the cello, and so on. So I wrote down what I heard. And at that moment I knew I had discovered, or rather that I had been endowed with, a strange...gift." |

Man made machines would make such chaotic sounds, and would not be worth listening too. Think about nature, it’s so beautifully balanced in all ways, and this video is yet another example. Many are too distracted, with their thoughts out of control, and are unable to appreciate the subtle beauty of life. Good luck everyone |

I sincerely Appreciate ALL that Our Creator designed Nature to provide us - unconditionally, to sustain LIFE and enhance and expand our Consciousness by sharing |

Cheers to these things not understood but make so much sense I do this same thing when I am skiing or hiking through the woods. From the time they were young, I have told my children I am contemplating the history of the trees in the forest. Just to think about the old trees and how much they have experienced by just being. Now more than ever it has been enjoyable to step away from the noise of the world and just contemplate the trees. "A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear." Marcus Tullius Cicero |
