Ukraine comes from the word Ukrajna

This word is a SLAVIC word meaning " far away"

When slavs migrated in the balkan regions thousands of years ago, some settled in bosnia, serbia, Croatia, etc some settled far away into Ukraine. They used to call this land ukrajna, because it was " at the end " of the balkan lands.

This word makes sense in the balkan region since they also share the slavic culture as Ukrainians and Russians but are geographically further away.


Thats where the actual slavic word Ukraine comes from, so everything else Op mentions is irrelevant.
