I clipped the cable in 2007. I got ROKU's for every TV in the House and eventually subscribed to NetFlix & Hulu.

Best decision I made in a long time.

Get a Firestick or similar and look for youtube without ads and APKs for everything else.

It's all out there for free if you look.

havent had TV scince lightning hit the house in october last year, havent realy missed it, get what I need from here or get the news streemed from the abc via youtube. we do have a jute box full of music.

Out here in rural mid Missouri with its rolling hills, cable is the only option for the closest television stations.

But I discontinued cable tv twelve years ago due to being between jobs and not being able to justify the expense. And when I started working again, I had no time to spend watching television.

So I've been without television for the past 12 years and find that I don't miss it a bit.

I dont have enough wall sockets to and have a steady tuner and An xbox both powered.

I don't miss it at all, between the free stuff that's offered through the streaming box I have and the most basic Hulu subscription (~$7), I have more than enough to watch...

Everything you see on cable/satellite you can find on a computer. Hell there's so much options you can even watch HBO for free.

What do you mean by APKs for everything else?

Finally talked the wife into getting rid of satellite TV. Convinced her that the only reason for paying for live TV (sat or cable) is to be able to sit down and channel-surf. The number of shows you would have to buy to break even on the cable/sat bill is far more than most people would watch.

just got rid of my Direct TV 130$ a month and nothing to watch. Have hbomax, paramount plus, disney+ w/hulu. Cost about 25$ a month and actually has shit I want to see.
