In a time of invasion and war


Lord Jesus Christ,You are the Son and the Word of the living God,You are the King of kings and the Prince of Peace: Restrain the violent aggression of Russia against Ukraine. Brother killing brother is the sin of Cain. Hear the cries of the people of Ukraine ! Protect those who are most vulnerable: civilians, children, women, and the elderly. Shelter them beneath the shelter of Your wings. Aid those who are now refugees. And comfort those who are mourning their dead.

Lord, we know that good is stronger than evil, love is stronger than hate, light is stronger than darkness, and life is stronger than death: so we pray to You now-put an end to this war.

For to You belongs all glory, honor and worship together with Your Father who is without beginning, and Your holy, good, and life giving Spirit, now and forever and to the ages of ages

Why have the Ukrainians allowed their leaders to violate the international agreements signed by Gorbachev and Western leaders?

It was agreed that Ukraine would not permit NATO countries to arm them nor was Ukraine to become a member of NATO.

NATO countries have been arming Ukraine and have broke these agreements. NATO has also been calling for Ukraine to join NATO. That is why Russia has been pushed to the limit. NATO bombers and warships have kept edging nearer to Russian territory in a provocative manner. The US would have leveled Ukraine if they were in the position of Russia. If you doubt that then you might want to look into something called the Iraq War, whereby hundreds of thousands of people died over a lie called weapons of Mass Destruction that the US warhawks gave as their "reason".
