What does everyone think about both this administrations approach and Biden's delivery?
1) Sanctions, not SWIFT yet
2) Commuted to protecting NATO
3) leaving Balkins without a commitment of support
4) Broadcasting of certain moves
What did you think of Biden's first speach where he said he wasn't sure if Putin had even made up his mind; then several days later he reported Putin had made up his mind.
Communication:
On the plus side- Biden has been coherent and articulate although maybe not quite as crisp as someone younger he is at least adequately conveying our position and the strength of that position.
Today he said sanctions were there to put long term pressure on Putin and would require coordinated resolve. He recognizes this is not a short term play.
It sounds like we are also fuck offing to avoid a more serious escalation - presumably being careful not to directly trigger WWIII?
