There are several reasons, but the simplest answer is that traditionally by pitching up a vocal track it aids in production/mixing

Chuck Berry did it to sound younger. That's another reason, as strange as it is

Metallica's Kill Em All was sped up to sound tighter, as a lot of rock bands didn't have access to metronomes and it was physically exhausting to do take after take at a high BPM

However, she has decades of her speaking voice recorded...from back when she was with Porter Wagpner, live events, in Person DollyWood appearances, etc with her speaking voice always at the same octave as her singing voic. Never, not once in over 50 years, is there a clip of that deeper voice. Plus, a sibling or two sound like her.

Yeah there’s no way the slow version is her natural voice, but I bet the backing track was sped up like that. Slowed version sounds more natural

What about the One Republic tune, there’s no doubt it’s all sped up. The slowed version is definitely the original, it sounds way better, like George Ezra.

There are no sped up songs. When you typed "sped up" that's the original, normal singing.
