Everyone who filed an exemption at Dl airlines was approved. I only heard of one who was denied. He went the ethical moral route.

People say they are not religious so They feel guilty about the exemption. I explain that you're not dealing with a moral or ethical corporation. They won't take care of you the rest of your life if you get damaged.

Every one of her co workers was denied.

exception for me (healthcare). easy. Approx 50 percent of co workers gave in months ago. No jab for me and never been positive.

My hospital denied mine even thought I cited 3 different federal laws as well and was forced to appeal going into great detail what my exact sincere beliefs were, which legally they are not allowed to do. Still waiting for their decision. Dont matter, ive accepted my fate and tired of this shithole criminal profession after 15 years of seeing misery in my patients eyes. Fuck the Medical profession

In early America, if they had tried crap like this, the exemption would have been tar and feathering, being quartered by horses, or hung from a tree.

It must be all the red coat blood that proliferated after the revolution, when the 97 percent abandoned the 3 percent that gained everyone's Independence.

I literally don’t know anyone who didn’t get theirs approved here. But we are in the Bible Belt and the hospital administrators here are happy to approve them.

All that needs to happen by law is let them know of the conflict by stating a deeply and sincerely held belief. Above is quite concise. Just simply saying “God has told me not to” is actually quite sufficient.

The law then requires they make an accommodation or DEMONSTRATE why they can’t.

Considering people have been working ALL through this pandemic (voids immediate danger arguments) and that it doesn’t cost the facility any money (accommodation arguments are financial ones) there is zero reason not to.

If not approved file and EEOC complaint then bring suit. You will win.

A janitor at a healthcare facility was required to take an influenza vaccine in 2011.

He didn’t even write a letter. He just verbally told his supervisor “God told me not to take it”. He was fired. Filed a complaint. And won over 500k…

Court ruled he had “notified” the employer “of his conflict” and they “failed to demonstrate or offer to demonstrate how an accommodation could not be made.”

Don’t make arguments about effects, don’t make arguments about stats, heavy metals, various ingredients, all those fail.

Just keep it simple and direct and regarding a “deeply held and sincere belief”.

If they deny it you have 180 days to open a complaint at your local EEOC office, will be given the green light for a suit, and then get paid.

Do not quit. Make them dismiss you. Do not fall for “oh we want to interview you.”

If called into a meeting “ to clarify your beliefs” simply act calm, as they ask questions, just start to write them down and say “ok I will pray about these answers” and shut the fuck up. If they keep pressing it’s harassment.

Never answer anything verbally. Don’t talk to your coworkers about side effects, etc.

Over 14,000 at my airline. Including myself got our religious exemptions. Don’t believe everything you hear.

i got mine denied early september.

got fired nov, but did get a temporary contract job after that supreme court thing came down and that osha crap didn't apply to remote workers.

So now, for my next job, need to find a remote position.

Open a complaint with your EEOC office and sue.
