Defector figure skater who gave up U.S. citizenship to compete for China crashes and burns at Olympics

She is the US-NATO black swan, black ops to derail the Chinese team.

This is a tough one. I was a competitive figure skater in my youth, and I understand the compelling desire to better your chances of making a national, or a world team or an olympic team. (Not that I ever had that option, but I understand it).

Figure skating is a big sport in the US, of the thousands of talented people, 2 or 3 get to go.

The fact she was largely trained in the US she had a leg up already, so why no go back (her parents were from China), and compete for her ancestral homeland?

Made sense, until she had two not great skates. And then they turned on her.

So it was a dicey thing to do, in a sport where one little thing you are splat on the ice, and you have like 2 billion people pissed at you, a carpetbagger from the U.S.

Skating fans are fickle.

I guess her American handler forgot to tell her that, by throwing the Olympics, she now gets shipped off to a labor camp in Xinjiang.

If the report about the Chinese crowd's reactions are true, then this shows China in a bad light.

Let's see -- a skater China WANTS to fail (so it can prove that "un-Chinese" Chinese are losers), appears day-of-show in unusually bad physical condition.
