lol, i have an "interesting" take on the whole scheme - the only thing the world understands is force. there are too many insane people who've convinced all the other sheeple that a sane man is insane, you just can't explain anything to anyone, they won't get it unless they've been taken around the block a couple times.

I can testify it’s a beautiful position. Takes half a life getting there but it’s worth it. Doesn’t matter who you are or education level. Just a solid work ethic, stay out of legal trouble. No hard drugs or booze. Stay healthy as long as possible. Don’t divorce. And for gods sake, don’t waste time on nonsense. That’s the real sin.

I didn’t hit my total fuck-you position until my forties; unless you’re really capable/lucky and can make bank earlier, that’s about the time in most men’s lives that they’re capable of reaching that position and holding it.

I would add to the house, reliable car, investment and no booze/drugs, that in today’s climate, before you ever achieve fuck-you status, you must avoid marriage like your life depended on it, because it does. Never let a girlfriend move in, either. If you do, some of the the laws about cohabitation are weird and she might end up taking you for a lot if/when you break up. Having a chick is fine, but don’t get too close to her, and never divulge your finances or other personal business to her; she doesn’t need to know anything about it. Also, when you get your house, get a high-quality, small fire safe installed and hidden well out of sight, where you can keep some cash, a couple of handguns, some investment goods like diamonds or precious metals; and lastly, never tell anyone about the safe, ever.

Maintaining a fuck-you position involves being discreet and careful in life. Choose your male friends very cautiously, and put trust in them - a little, not a lot - only when they consistently earn it. Keep your acquaintances wide but not deep, and at arm’s length unless they prove themselves worthy of friendship. Thorough background checks, while not cheap, are necessary for anyone close to you. Don’t get sucked into buying crap you don’t need because it’s trendy, or because you think you might use it someday. Keep a set of good tools, not too many, the basics, and learn how to use them - YouTube is your friend here. If you can fix some things yourself, that’s an important part of a fuck-you position.

Lastly, never be afraid to walk away from everything. Never let your possessions or your money own you. That is the ultimate fuck-you position.
