What is the point of the mark of the beast if all it means is you worship him?

Re: What is the point of the mark of the beast if all it means is you worship him?
Please try to understand my logic. I don't think the MOTB is just about labeling people that worship the beast. Although I could be wrong.

I think if you get the MOTB it physically keeps you from being raptured. I don't think rapture takes you to heaven. I think it just puts you on the sea of glass where you are protected during the wrath.

Because it also says the 144,000 are sealed. This keeps them from being raptured but also keeps them from being harmed by wrath.

That's just my theory. But there has got to be some reason the MOTB happens.

The 'vaccines' are the mark of the beast and that's it, people who took it caved into fear or for convenience and did not trust God to take care of them. People knew they were taking an experimental drug and since they consented to it they bought a one way ticket to hell.

Where is a rapture referenced in the Bible?
 Quoting: Truth2free

When dealing with doctrinal issues, sometimes some truths are right there in the Bible in front of our noses, and it's easy for us to understand them. Other truths are more challenging and require us to look at the whole chapter, book, or bible in order to fully grasp the concepts. When any one verse dealing with a particular doctrinal issue appears to stand apart from other similar truths, we should suspect that there may be an interpretive or possibly a translational issue involved that needs further research. I believe the doctrine of the rapture is one such difficult truth.

The word 'rapture' itself is not listed in the English bible. But it is listed in the Latin Vulgate bible, written by Jerome in the early 400's AD. The word there is 'raeptius' or 'rapturo' , which translated into English means 'rapture'.

It is found here in the English bible:

1 Thessalonians 4:17
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

In English bibles, 'raeptius' or 'rapturo' is transliterated into 'caught up'. That happens sometimes during the translation process to try to communicate the point more familiarly.

The original Thessalonian manuscripts however were written in Greek. There were actually no 'English' words at all in the original bibles, including the word 'bible' itself. And the original Greek word for 'rapture' is listed in English script as 'harpazo', which means 'to rapture up into the air', or to 'snatch away'.

It was this original Greek term 'harpazo' that Jerome later translated into Latin as 'raptus' or 'raeptius', which was later translated into English as 'rapture'. These terms all mean the same thing: 'to be caught up'.

Yes, but there is no indication that Christ returns twice. This "caught up in the clouds" is to occur on Christ's return which is on the last day.
 Quoting: Truth2free

On the contrary, when you read the rapture passages in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, 1 Corinthians 15:51-53, Acts 1:9-11, and John 14:3, there is no indication that Christ will return to the ground in Jerusalem on the Mount of Olives, where the bible says Christ will return to when He returns to earth at the end of the Tribulation. Neither do the rapture passages speak about Yahshua making war against the Antichrist or ruling with a rod of iron, etc. during the rapture. It's apparent to me that we are dealing with two different occasions here.

And when you read the 2nd Advent passages, like Revelation 19:11-21, that do talk about Christ's final return, there is no talk of a rapture in the air at that time. There is no imagery of us going up to meet Christ in the air at that time. Rather the imagery is of the sky opening up and Christ comes down from heaven on a white horse, and the saints are already with Him when He exits heaven and returns to the earth to destroy the Antichrist and his armies, and to retake Jerusalem and Israel from them. This time He sets down on the surface of the earth, on the Mount of Olives, as He prepares to retake Jerusalem. There is no talk of a resurrection or a rapture at that time.

The bible is talking of a different time when Christ returns to dethrone the Antichrist at the 2nd Advent. And we will be on white horses with the angels following Him out of heaven when He returns.

Christ Himself told us He will return to take us to heaven to live in the homes He has built for us there:

John 14: 1-4
1 "Don't let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many homes. If it weren't so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.
3 If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.
4 Where I go, you know, and you know the way."

Where is His Father's house? In heaven.
Where is Yahshua/Jesus? In heaven.
Where are the homes that Yahshua will prepare for us? In heaven.

How can there be no rapture to heaven if Christ has prepared places for us to live in inside of heaven? If He has built homes for us in heaven, then He will come and get us and take us to live in them just as He promised to do.

But how can we live in heaven while Christ is on earth in His new Millennial Kingdom? That doesn't make sense. The timing is off. When Christ returns to earth, He's staying here on earth for 1000 years for His Millennial Reign.

And Christ says we'll be with Him. So when He returns to earth to destroy the Antichrist and set up His 1000 yr. Millennial Kingdom on earth, we will be here with Him too because we will stay with Him forever, wherever He is. If He's on earth, so will we be on earth too, not in heaven away from Him.

The only tribulation understanding that lets the Church:
1. Live in our promised homes in heaven,
2. Avoid all of God's wrath,
3. Be with Christ in heaven as He promised,
4. Have time for the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ in heaven,
5. Have time for the Marriage ceremony with Christ in heaven,
6. Receive our white garments in heaven,
7. Get our white horses in heaven,
8. Return with Christ from heaven at the Battle of Armageddon,
9. And be on earth with Yahshua during Christ's Millennial Kingdom-
is the Pre-Trib Rapture position. No other position can account for all of these things that must come to pass when and where the bible says they will.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79464842

The identity of the 'Last Trump(et)' can be confusing, and is a point with which many bible scholars argue. The way I understand it is that we need to try to understand what 'last' means in its context. The word 'Last' can mean different things, such as 'last in a series', 'last of a program', or 'last chronologically', etc. So we need to try to understand which definition of 'Last' to use here.

Is the trumpet at the rapture the last one that will ever be blown? No. It will not be. I believe there will be at least 9 trumpets blown in the End Times, with annual trumpet soundings at the Millennial Temple for a thousand years after that. There is 'the Trump(et) of God', the '7 Trumpets of Judgement', the 2nd Coming regathering trumpet, and the annual temple trumpets at the Feast of Tabernacles after the new Millennial Kingdom is established. There may be more, but these are the ones I can think of at the moment.

Re: What is the point of the mark of the beast if all it means is you worship him?
The 'Last Trump(et)' of 1 Cor. 15:51-52 says-

51 "Behold, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed."

I believe this passage to be a parallel rapture passage to the one in 1 Thess. 4:16-17-

16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God's trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first,
17 then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.

Both passages are talking about the return of Yahshua/Jesus, the resurrection of the dead, the translation of the living, and the rapture in the air. The first passage uses the term 'the last trumpet', while the second uses the term, 'God's trumpet' (or in some translations: the Trump of God). But it's clear to me that they both reference the same event. And the context is comfort and hope to the believers in the Church.

Re: What is the point of the mark of the beast if all it means is you worship him?
That is in direct contrast to the 7th Trumpet of Judgment in Rev. 11:15-19-

15 The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever!"
16 The twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones before God's throne, fell on their faces and worshiped God,
17 saying: "We give you thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the one who is and who was; because you have taken your great power, and reigned.
18 The nations were angry, and your wrath came, as did the time for the dead to be judged, and to give your bondservants the prophets, their reward, as well as to the saints, and those who fear your name, to the small and the great; and to destroy those who destroy the earth."
19 God's temple that is in heaven was opened, and the ark of the Lord's covenant was seen in his temple. Lightnings, sounds, thunders, an earthquake, and great hail followed.

In these Revelation passages the angel sounds the 7th Trumpet (7 of 7 trumpet judgments/the last trumpet of the series), and God's wrath is seen here, the dead are judged, and there are lightning, thunders, an earthquake, and great hail, none of which are present in the rapture passages in 1 Thess. & 1 Cor. above. And then there's more judgments and a huge battle to follow before Yahshua returns with yet another trumpet after all that. It appears there are 2 different events happening with the top 2 passages and then the 7th Trumpet passage. And then there's more to come after that.

Re: What is the point of the mark of the beast if all it means is you worship him?
The 7th Trumpet judgment happens, and then more judgments follow (it's not over yet & Yahshua hasn't returned yet): You then have the 7 vial/bowl judgments after that, then the Battle of Armageddon happens, and THEN Yahshua returns from heaven on horseback with all His angels AND saints (us). And after they return, then yet another trumpet blows, this time in Matthew 24:29-31-

29 But immediately after the oppression of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken;
30 and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the {REDACTED} of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.
31 He will send out his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his {REDACTED} ones from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

Re: What is the point of the mark of the beast if all it means is you worship him?
So in this scene we have a whole series of wrath & judgment events that happen that are not mentioned in the Thess. or Cor. rapture (hope & comfort) passages. Neither are they mentioned in the passages for the 7th Trumpet Judgement. These are distinctly different from both of the two above events, suggesting that we have 3 separate events in view here:

1. The Rapture
2. The 7th Trumpet Judgment
3. The 2nd Advent

But all 3 events have a trumpet being blown that has been identified by some as the 'Last Trump(et)'. They can't all be right. And the rapture passages offer hope & comfort, but the 7th Trumpet passages offer wrath & judgment. No, these are distinctly different events, all with different trumpets being blown, and with different things happening at each event.

You have much to write but know this, if their was a lost sheep that was yours would you not rescue the sheep or let it die.
Save what is yours, have you not not heard, even the sheep can be saved from another pasture. Do not marvel I say this, repent and serve with love and compassion in the One True God Jesus Christ our Lord.
May the Lord God Almighty & Savior Jesus Christ be with you always & forever Amen!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 38200416

Yahshua/Jesus said that the Good Shepard will leave his flock to go find the lost sheep and return it home. Just as He did when He left heaven to come and save his lost sheep on earth.

The Church is the flock of Yahshua's sheep that He will protect and will keep from the time of God's wrath, the Tribulation. And He will do this with the Pre-Tribulation Rapture.

But some new sheep will come into the fold after the Rapture, during the Tribulation. And Yahshua doesn't want those sheep to be lost either. So He will send His 144,000 evangelists during the Tribulation to find those lost sheep and return them to the fold. The Two Witnesses will also be sent to do the same, for God doesn't want anyone to perish, but to have eternal life. He will give the world this 2nd chance after the rapture.

But the price people will pay for their lack of faith before the rapture will very likely be their lives, as martyrs in the short-lived Empire of the Antichrist. For it is better for a believer to lose their life to one who can only take their life, rather than to lose both their life and their soul to the only One who can take both.

Yahshua's faithful sheep will be given eternal life.

Much of the New Testament includes quotes, paraphrases, and references from and to the Old Testament.

Re: What is the point of the mark of the beast if all it means is you worship him?
The mark of the beast tells God that you put your trust in the devil instead of the Creator. It is a declaration of who's side you're on, Gods side or the devils side.

Revelation 14:9-12

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Re: What is the point of the mark of the beast if all it means is you worship him?
The rapture, on the other hand, will happen before the Antichrist seizes power over the planet and implements the Mark of the Beast. So believers today will be whisked away to heaven before the main event of the Tribulation kicks off with the breaking of the First Seal of God's judgment and wrath upon this fallen world. And the First Seal will be the 1st of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the Horseman on the White Horse, the one we call the Antichrist. These things happen in order. For those unbelievers who will be left behind, he comes pretending to bring peace. But it'll be a false peace that leads to betrayal and global war where hundreds of millions or more will die as he consolidates his NWO grip over the planet.

They're just silly stories written by desert vendors who traveled from town to town selling housewares. Or by people going crazy on hallucinogens in isolated prisons.

The biblical passages about the "mark of the beast" are culturally influenced by the Roman Empire, which tatooed soldiers, slaves and criminals, according to the condition of each one.

The mark of the beast is a tattoo specific to those who supported the emperor, think of it like a MAGA hat.

Do you seriously think anyone in this generation, is worthy to be saved?

I haven't checked yet. I don't know everyone. I don't see legendary figures leading us to a utopia (yet).

What if the worthy don't exist?

Born in sin. Come on in.
Born in wealth, stay in stealth.

How Many Prophecies Did Jesus Fulfill?
[link to firmisrael.org (secure)]
It's not enough to just say a prayer for salvation. You have to have faith that Jesus will save you. You have to believe it in your core.

The bottom line with these links is that the bible is not just a compilation of stories, but our 'Human Owners' Manual' on how to reconnect with God and how to live our lives that we've been given. And the fulfilled prophecies all throughout the bible are God's way of proving to us that what He has put into the bible is true and really from Him, as no one else in existence could have made such accurate predictions that have come true over the millennia, and continue to do so.

And that gives us a great deal of confidence that other prophecies in the bible, such as those concerning the Mark of the Beast, are also just as accurate as those bible prophecies that have already been fulfilled, over and over again throughout history; throughout 'His story'.

The Mark of the Beast will be a symbol of enslavement to the NWO and to the Antichrist. It'll also mean that person has sold their soul to Satan, and who will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire after Yahshua's/Jesus' return.

Choose carefully whose team you will be on, Borg: Team Jesus, or Team Satan.
