$HELPING THREAD Do you make passive income? Help other GLP members to do it.
If you make passive income on the side of your job or you dont work anymore because your passive income is more than a job, tell us how you do it. Help the other members to discover ways to make money.

Tell us what do you do exactly?

I have been seeing a lot of people make passive income with crypto nodes and I have no idea what is that or which nodes work, other than that I dont know what else to do to make passive income, unless youre always trading stocks or crypto.

My friend has 3 rental homes. One he rents bedrooms out the other 2 are whole house rentals. Seems like a good idea if you can afford to buy the homes cheap and rehab them.

I'm pulling in about $300 weekly from $THOR nodes, I invested about $1200:

[link to app.thor.financial (secure)]

All you do is establish a Metamask wallet on Chrome (youtube it), buy the $THOR tokens at Trader Joes using AVAX tokens that you can get at Coinbase or Bitrue (among others):

[link to traderjoexyz.com (secure)]

My other passive income is from $STRONG nodes, I have three which produce .3 STRONG tokens a day, each token sells for about $500 which you can get at Bitrue (and wherever else, check coinmarketcap.com for all of the places if you want).

Once you have STRONG tokens (need 10) and about $300 in ether to pay for gas fees (all in your MM wallet) you can create a node here:

[link to www.strongblock.com (secure)]

every 10 days, I'm pulling in about $1500 before paying for gas fees *typically $160 lately each pull out*

You can easily figure this out at Youtube:
1- get Metamask for Chrome
2- buy your tokens wherever, send to your MM wallet
3- hit the webpages above and exchange them for nodes

Thor is riskier than Strong which has been passive income for about a year now for many. The guys in charge are former VPs at Nike and IBM.

Both are risky really but I got my initial investment back a long time ago and now just cashing in every 10 days or so to get add to my now 6 digit XRP stash.

Whore house. In the beginning I was alone and it was hard, but then as business picked up, cash flow was enough to start hiring some employees.

Starting to consider starting to sell the franchise...

Are you converting any coins to cash or just mining crypto to purchase other coins - coins that may or may not go up in value in the future?

That's not income, that's investing.

I cashed out my ROI right away so now I'm just getting free money, currently I cash out about 1/3 of my gains, the other 2/3 gets reinvested in XRP. I put half of the cash out gains on my Coinbase and Uphold debit cards which pays for all of my gasoline, groceries.

EDIT: the remainder gets deposited to my BoA checking account via Uphold.com or Coinbase.com

Pretty sweet setup.
Are you reporting this income to the "big guy"?

you don't need to answer, the tax man is trying to crack down on crypto earnings

Some of it, sure. The cashouts at Coinbase for sure since they already report my US dollar cashouts. Turbo Tax makes it easy with a link to a cointracker site that will track your crypto wallets and tell you what you should report when cashing out, it even integrates, for free, with the basic Turbo Tax service.

I'm good friends with my elderly neighbors in a rural area. They are no longer able to take care of their property or perform tasks due to age issues.
I take care of their lawn and gardening and repair things around their property as needed.
I make about 400-500 a month doing this and I also have my $1900 a month retirement pension.
We agreed it was "cash only" and no record of it maintained.
I've known them for 20+ years and won't rip them off or anything. They are good people...

My main job is in IT, but yeah I get passive income from bank interest. It depends on the interest rate. So, right now it's around 0.5%, so 500,000 that's about 2500 per year additional on top of my six figure salary. The REAL payday is when they raise interest rates, though. So if it went up to 2%, then that would be like 10,000 per year. If it went up to 4%, that would be an additional 20,000 per year. You get the picture.

There are other investment avenues that you should look into with some of that 500K. 2500 annual return on it is a slow gain and interest rates will not quadruple any time soon. Even if you took 100k of it and bought conservative stocks that paid quarterly dividends you would pull and additional 10-15k after capital gains.

I've flipped 2 cars over the last 6 months to earn a little extra money.

I look for certain years/makes/models and I have friends/contacts that handle estates when people die, so I can occasionally get a lightly used vehicle when someone elderly passes away. I also scour the usual online sources for good deals.

I'm a decent mechanic, even though that's not my main profession, and when I buy the vehicle I go through it top to bottom replacing all of the usual items (spark plugs, oil, oil filter, air filter, sometimes coolant/brake fluid if needed, etc.). I also do a top-to-bottom detail and interior cleaning which usually takes me a full 8 hour day.

On the 2 cars I've flipped in the last 6 months I was able to make $5700 profit on the 1st car, and $6400 profit on the 2nd car, after deducting any materials/parts.

I usually put about 20-30 hours of my time into each vehicle between the mechanical work and the detailing.

I enjoy the work and it keeps me busy on the weekends, so it's not just for the money, but for the enjoyment as well.

If I wanted to dedicate more time to it, I think I could easily do 1 car per month on average.

This!! There are many elderly, everywhere, who need help around their home such as this. Even rides to the store, their appts, etc, for those who can no longer drive. Most if not all would gladly pay someone they can trust to help them out.

Re: $HELPING THREAD Do you make passive income? Help other GLP members to do it.
Those with 'extra' money sitting around, can surely afford to take the risk of bitcoin etc, yet only if they know exactly what they are doing, or have a trusted mentor showing them how. Consider it the same as money to gamble with, cuz that's exactly what one is doing with this or other investments. Take whatever amount you are able to afford to lose. Making your money back and more, is always a plus. Can use that to put back in.

Rental property is a good and safe investment. It takes money for the upkeep and etc, yet you'll gain money over time. In some cases, fixing up rentals or older homes and flipping them will bring a good profit. Can use profit made to buy more.

Some make a profit by buying out a business going under. And either running it as is, or sell the equipment etc, fix up the building, rent it out to another business. Money out at first, yes, but over time, the income will cover the upkeep, the rest is profit.

If you have or learn a skill, can turn that into a profit by offering services to others without that skill, especially at a discount. Folks are more inclined to choose YOU if they can get those services for less.

We have a ranch, and board horses for others who do not have the space, yet still want to care for their own horse and ride. We also offer lessons in riding, grooming, and training horses. This brings in a nice income. Just an example of how to turn a skill into an income.

It's not really a hustle, it's brilliant! They can do everything as stated, and be as honest as the day is long.

Of course there is always gonna be the corrupt individual who would do this for evil, just as anything else.

Yet do you realize HOW MANY people in this world there are who would pay good money to have a decent and honest mechanic who enjoys doing what they are skilled at, and not do them dirty?

There are WAY more good and honest folks in the world than there are evil and corrupt.

The most consistent returns I've ever seen people make is by flipping stuff.

What do you know a lot about? Cars, tractors, trailers, computers, cameras, antique furniture, whatever.

Buy the deals from dummies and desperates and resell.

My uncle has done this with tractors for decades. He might buy an 8n for $2,000. Clean it up, tune it, maybe a little paint. No more than a couple hundred bucks and a weekend of time. It'll bring $3,500.

He sells about 10 tractors a year.

And he dabbles in trailers too. People get to needing money and will sell things like trailers, ATVs, and boats at low prices. He doesn't make much off trailers, but it's quicker money than tractors. He'll make 2 or 3 hundred usually if he doesn't improve them any.

Find mobile home parks that allow you to buy and rent mobile homes (many don't). Buy cheap mobile homes preferably 3br 2bath and repaint and fix them up and rent them out. Here I buy them for 10k or under, fix them and rent for $1100. Lot rent is $500. Total profit $550 per month. Investment pays itself off in less than 2 years and becomes a free money machine. Get 3 or more going in the same park. That's what I'm doing.
