A holster is the only thing required (open or concealed). You do not know who has a gun- and we couldn't be happier. We've had it in Tennessee since July and I think it's a great thing. I already had a concealed carry permit from before and I recommend the class to everyone wanting to carry. |

Police use of force policies in states like Texas that have constitutional carry laws allow police to shoot you dead at their discretion if you are in possession of a gun and they deem you a threat in their own minds. It's all up to them whether you live or die. Good luck. |

I DO NOT recommend ANY American carry a firearm on his person if he is expecting to be in anything but a medium sized to large group of individuals in the presence of police. Like I said, if they decide to kill you , it's a freebee, and automatic no bill by the grand jury even if the cop is charged. The police will simply characterize you as an aggressor or a criminal and the media will back them up. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 81605672 United States 02/03/2022 06:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What good does "constitutional carry" do you when all the police have to do is shoot you and say you had a gun? "We got another gun off the streets". " The suspect was armed with a handgun". It's a freebee, do you understand that? Lets put it this way, it isn't wise to give one of them pencil dicked bald headed death ink tattooed roided up cocksuckers a license AND an excuse to murder you. |

The commiecrats howled, bellowed and gnashed their teeth about how Texas was going to be like the lawless old west with shootouts on every corner 24/7 just because the people had regained their constitutional right to bear arms. Funny thing is that never happened. The bad guys are already armed to the teeth thus the ones arming themselves under the new rules are primarily law abiding citizens more interested in self-defense than doing crimes. As a result the bad guys now have to calculate something they have rarely seen before; armed resistance to their crimes. Do they really want to try and jack that ladies car now that she probably has a Glock at her side? The risk the bad guys must accept to ply their trade just went up dramatically in Texas and they know it. |
