Few issues with cryto.
1) People need an electronic device to access them.
2) If there's a SHTF scenario access via the net will most likely not work properly.
3) Hardware and software is 100% corruptable
4) It's binary, meaning it doesn't truly exist and one EMP and everyone's information is not assessable.
5) Digital networks have constant legacy issues
6) If people are starving, tired, and chaos ensues crypto will be the last thing they will use as a currency. They'll be trading in food and real things that keep them alive and are useful to survive.
Unless people are completely blind we are heading in the number 6 direction really fast. It may not be mad max, but it will be something way different than we have currently.

Everything else is digital in the exact same way (only worse) as crypto is.
