Not always true. I don't belong in the parts where I am at. Honestly, I can't stand the people around me. People my way are getting increasingly aggressive and hostile, which I want no part of. I just want to be left alone and live in peace. The typical Masshole gets in everyone's face, causes problems, gets in everyone's business, and wants a fight.

Problem is, the cost of living is so outrageous here that I can't get out. I barely scrape by... and the costs keep going up, meaning my escape path is minimizing.

So to generalize that assholes attract assholes is crazy. I'm trapped amongst assholes with no escape.

The problem with this much snow is it knocks out the power, which is hard to restore as vehicles can't get to the problem. Then people in the dark for a week or so find all their pipes freeze AT ONCE and it takes weeks for the limited amount of plumbers to get to everybody. They need to get supplies from out of the area.

I remember the big one in Boston, 1978. It was awful with no running water or plumbing for weeks. Being students, we were behind everyone with influence on "who gets help first". Using a bucket with plastic bags for a toilet got old fast. No water for washing up and no water/power for cooking didn't help.

The lowest winchill recorded on Earth was in McGrath Alaska at -100, bitch. Try to tell them about 'absolute zero' and they will spit in your face, but it will freeze.

To save you all a lot of Googling, the lowest non-windchill temp ever recorded on earth was 128.6 °F in Soviet Vostok Station in Antarctica.

If we ever record a temperature of absolute zero, I doubt any surrounding life forms will 'bounce back' if ya know what I'm sayin.

At that point you are looking at an ELE. So hope you and yourn never experience that shit. LOL. Because that is the absence of any heat and consequently any life.

didn't you get like 7 feet in one storm or something crazy? i forget what year. a few years ago we got 8 feet in 4 weeks, that's the most i remember. your definitely more use to it being on the lakes.
