Sounds to me like the stakes were just raised. My daughter's beau is in one of the divisions put on alert and they are readying to mobilize.

In other words we put our forces on higher alert and continue to marginally support Ukraine while keeping an eye on Russia and blah blah blah. What is the point in having this press conference?
