UPDATE 8/16/22 FARMERS MAKING BIG MOVES. inspired by Canada Freedom Convoy

Welcome, Patriots! On January 28, 2022, this thread began by documenting the Freedom Movement started by several hundred Canadian truckers to protest the heavy-handed mandates instituted by the Trudeau Regime.

Their requests were simple: Please meet with us to discuss the vaccine mandates that prohibit us from doing our jobs.

While waiting for a response, they peacefully assembled in Ottawa observing all laws and ordinances. While passing time, they cleaned statues, shoveled snow and built play areas for children. The crime rate dropped 90% in the area.

These heroes braved the elements of the Canadian winter sleeping in their rigs in below-zero temperatures and eating in makeshift camps; all the while their resolve never wavered.

The Canadian people responded warmly and showered the truckers and families with food donations, blankets and firewood. A Go*Fund*Me site was set up and amassed over $10 million for the cause.

Instead of meeting with the truckers, the Trudeau Regime stole their money, blocked any further donations and sent in an army of jackboot thugs to teach them a lesson. In this thread we watched in horror as horses trampled two elderly women and men and women were beaten savagely with batons and arrested. We watched in real-time as Trudeau's thugs clubbed a female new reporter and shot her point blank with a teargas canister. Participation in this protest now means your bank accounts may be frozen and you may be jailed for even speaking about these events. Communism has taken hold of Canada.

However, because of these brave men and women, we are now witnessing an uprising of one of the largest Freedom Movements in history all over the world. The USA Peoples Convoy is next. Join us as we support this historic moment. Share news, information and thoughts with us as we witness the people who have had enough go to DC and make our demands known. Unnecessary high fuel costs?
Inflation ramping up?
Tax paying citizens sacrifice daily while the government and media claiming all is well?

The most profound statement I've heard in a while, and every sentence is a gut punch.

Where is our Wall of Courage? We all need to ask each other and break the fog of complacency. I hope it's not too late.

I couldn't get past the paywall to read the entire article.

While I think it's great that people are exposing the fraud, do they have plans to do anything with the information?

Not being snarky, just curious if this will lead to any concrete pushback or accountability.

Is this thread pretty much kaput now?

I like the camaraderie in the thread, and who knows, maybe it can switch topics until
the movement picks back up, if it does. I'm sure there will be no lack of content.

No matter what, I have enjoyed all of the contributions.
