That many truckers not doing their usual deliveries will have a nationwide impact on daily life. It will effect the economy. Their supply chain shortage will be greatly magnified.

This leverage is what separates a trucker protest from any other.

In addition, many of the vaxxed Canadians are just plain old fatigued from it all. We're living normal life down here and they're holed up. Can't even go to a hockey game. They see the UK, Ireland and other countries dropping restrictions.
