I have known people who would not eat pork or meat at all, and they are serious about it. Like someone said too they don't have the proper bacteria to digest it either. I can see how it would have made him sick.

If you're that delicate about something that you're going to eat you should just eat at home. Like, if I know sesame seeds could kill me if I ate them, I would be damned if I would eat out.
