Losing loved ones is terrible. And getting older is wierd.
But maybe in time you will appreciate the memory of what was once there and not so much grieve for what was lost.
Good on you that you posted. I hardly ever do but it was almost as if I could see you sitting there. Next beer I'll make a mental toast for you both. Sure Joel would have approved.
