That time you almost volunteered yourself for the Darwin award

I once backed up to a stand up forklift to another, and thought it would be cool to drive them together, went like a foot and realized I was instants away from severing my leg off.

Decided that day, doing something “cool” could be a life changing, and possibly life ending event, and took my job seriously after that. Also turned too sharp one time, and had like 5 secs of hangtime where the forklift thought about tipping over (luckily it didn’t).

I really enjoyed driving the forklift when I was younger, but am glad I don’t do that anymore, it was actually pretty dangerous.
